1. Brass

It may be a new year, but my love for this metallic hue is still here. 
In all shapes and forms it always seems to impress.
 A definite like (love) on my list for 2013!

 The more of this I see, the more I fall in love. 
The same amazing iconic pieces, but with a bit of a hollywood glam twist.

I love how these vanities have the shape of a midcentury piece, but the high gloss and lucite makes them so much more! My dream bathroom for sure!

I love how all these pictures show a more glamorous/traditional side of midcentury modern, with a few other twists as well. I'm definitely wanting this style to play out more in my home decor this year.

4. Statement Pieces

I'm loooving statement pieces right now and realize how necessary having one in every room is.

Although yellow is not usually my colour, these Milo Baughman chairs would most definitely catch your attention!

I literally almost passed out when I saw this Chandelier. It's quite possibly the most beautiful thing I've ever laid eyes on. It's basically jewellery in light form!
