High Point Round-Up

It's the weekend!! and as promised, we're closing
off the week with a round-up of our favourite
style spotters' picks from High Point!

Green with Envy

Not surprisingly, it seems as though green
featured prominently at HP!

We're loving this malachite bergere!

Pick by Lisa Mende

.... and this fabulous bench by Currey & Co.

Currey & Company

Also, as always, Lilly and the green "Kelley" campaign desk!

Lilly Pulitzer

For more bold and saturated,
this cobalt blue lacquered chest of drawers
by Bungalow 5 is a beauty!
(and fab paired with the Meg Braff wallpaper!!)

Bungalow 5

We love this next vignette - tulip table and
low-lying circular settee duo - and I get the feeling
that this picture doesn't begin to do it justice!

Avalon two-piece Curved Sectional

I'm such a sucker for a great bergere and can
picture this at a fabulous country home
in a perfect little corner of an oversized bathroom - ahhhh.

CR Laine
I'm all about the secretary these days
especially in the bedroom.

I'm really liking the feel of the Alice desk by
Alexa Hampton for Hickory - it's
cleaned lined and masculine but with fabulous
hardware that adds a bit of pretty.

You can never have too many black dresses
or too many side tables ;), and this acrylic moroccan
table is a welcome new take on the status quo!

Bernhardt Moroccan Side Table

Let there be brass!

Needless to say, we were also very enthused to see
all of the brass, including these etageres by
Mr. and Mrs. Howard for Sherrill Furniture.

Tried and true, you could never go wrong with these,
and I love the side-by-side pairing!

Now, for my personal favourites.

These tables!!
Different, sculptural - I think they would be
positively brilliant in a grouping as displayed here!

Eric G Coffee Table by Worlds Away

This next piece gets my vote for #1 HP pick!!

Be still my Regency-loving heart!!
I'm pinching myself - is this for real??

Hello Operation Office Overhaul
and a pair of Caracole mirrors!

"Exclamation" and "Point" Mirror by Caracole
And a close second is this side table by Bernhardt!

My love for all things cream has never faltered,
and this tiered side table paired with brass
is the perfect marriage with the lacquered creme.

I'm also loving the architectural panel in the background!

Another creme fave is this table for
Baker by Thomas Pheasant.

This piece to me feels like a nod to both
moorish and art-deco style and timeless in its appeal
 - equally at home in an interior from decades
past as one in present day.

Definitely one for the Santa wish-list ;)

And last but definitely least, this glammy 1960's
portrait as chosen by Style Spotter
Julia Buckingham Edelmann.

The portrait is fast becoming my favourite
type of art these days, and I'm especially loving
these vintage types that infuse so much
character and history into a space.

Likes? Dislikes?
What were your faves of the faves?
Would love to hear!!

Thanks for the visit, and happiest of weekends!

Big hugs, Christine
